RESIDENCES - Embassy in Prague

Embassy in Prague

2002 Prague, Czech Republic.
Residence of the ambassador. This palace was undergoing a major renovation in 2002 when the ambassador called me to make some painted murals.
The dining room is a pure evocation of Brazil with the most exuberant nature and fauna.
In a small room called the “bird parlor”, I made a composition that reminds me of frescoes from Italy (Naples) but with representations of Brazilian landscapes and birds.
The large foyer won large stripes and stylized fern motifs.
The paintings were made in my atelier and then put in place, other paintings were made directly on site.
The following year, I was invited to a collective exhibition of Brazilian artists in a city near Prague.
