Solar do Império

When I arrived in Petrópolis to see the hotel being built inside one of the most famous 19th century mansions in the city, owners’ idea was for me to paint a detail in each room. But when I saw the dining room still in construction, I immediately thought these walls should be mine!
I represented tropical animals playing with objects related to the art of the table.
All romantic. Until today, they make the charm of the visitors, for their humor and lightness.
